Our estimator quotes on an 11x17 sheet (aka tabloid, aka ledger). Want a finished 8.5x11? Three ways there:

• Fine with a little smudge: we print 2-up on 11x17 and cut it in half — your copy count is effectively halved. Cheapest route.
• Want it clean: we print 1-up on 11x17 and trim to size, keeping ink out of the smudge zone.
• Something weirder: email hello@itsthebest.co and we'll quote it custom.

What Your Quote Includes (And What It Doesn't)

Included: print production time. You hit go, we run the job.

Not included — artwork setup. Files need separating into color layers? We'll do it at $50/hour, or hand us print-ready separations and skip the charge. Either way we give your files a once-over and flag anything that'll print funny. The consultation's free — we like talking Riso more than is strictly healthy.

Also not included — tax and shipping. And if you're a nonprofit, say so; we knock off a discount.

How much does custom risograph printing cost? It comes down to how many designs, how many colors (each color is a separate pass), how many copies, and which paper. Use the calculator above for an instant ballpark. Artwork separation, if you need it, is $50/hour on top.

Can you print 8.5x11? Yes. We print on 11x17 and cut down: 2-up and halved (cheaper, slight smudge) or 1-up and trimmed (cleaner edges). Custom sizes, just ask.

What files do you need? Print-ready color separations (one grayscale layer per ink) are ideal and keep your cost down. No separations? Send what you've got and we'll separate them at $50/hour.

Do you offer nonprofit discounts? Usually we do! Mention it when you reach out and we'll apply it if we can.

Do you do local pickup? Yep. Local pickup in the San Francisco Bay Area is free. Otherwise we charge shipping. Please note that tax and shipping are quoted on top.
